Required Skills:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Excellent knowledge of pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
- Proven ability to evaluate patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly
- Strong communication skills for patient and staff education
- Attention to detail in equipment maintenance and documentation
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and coordinate with healthcare teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in hospital or acute care settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience in a healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work night shifts as scheduled
- Valid state license to practice respiratory therapy in Michigan
- Willingness to travel or receive reimbursements when applicable
- Must adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensure requirements
