What Youll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular patients in a fast-paced stepdown environment
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, assessments, and lab results
- Administer medications, treatments, and assist with procedures like PTCA, TAVR, MitraClip, and pacemaker management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and health management
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
What You Need:
- Current RN license in Michigan
- At least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac or stepdown units
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work nights and perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
