What Youll Do:
- Monitor patients using advanced telemetry and monitoring equipment.
- Perform ongoing assessments, recognize subtle changes, and initiate interventions as needed.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips according to physician orders.
- Provide care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses.
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Recent experience in stepdown or critical care units (1+ year preferred)
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work night shift in a fast-paced environment
