Join Our Team as a Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights) in Saginaw, MI

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, addressing physical, emotional, psych/social, and family support needs.
- Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care based on individual needs, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Evaluate patient progress by integrating clinical data with nursing knowledge to meet established care goals.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to plan and implement holistic patient care plans.
- Manage a patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally stretching to 5:1, to deliver attentive and personalized care.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in good standing.
- Proven clinical proficiency in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work effectively under pressure.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in a Progressive Care or Telemetry unit.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or PCU setting.
Other Requirements:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently.
- Willingness to comply with all hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Certification, travel, and other reimbursements provided where applicable.
