Medical Surgical RN Traveler – Submission Requirements

Facility Requirements

• Must be willing to float to any Medical-Surgical unit.

• Block scheduling will NOT be considered.

• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

• Permanent address must be included in the profile.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience.

• Telemetry experience required.

• Willingness to float required.

• Basic Dysrhythmia Course Completion strongly required.

• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.

Certification Requirements

The following certifications must be active and uploaded at the time of profile submission:

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS

• American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Note: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be in hand at profile upload. The facility will not pend certifications.

• One Supervisory Signed Reference (within the past 2 years of employment)

• Active Massachusetts RN License

• Active AHA BLS Certification

• Active AHA ACLS Certification

• NIHSS Certification

State License Requirement

• Active Massachusetts RN License

Additional License Requirement

• Massachusetts RN License must be in hand and uploaded with the profile at the time of submission.
  Facility will not pend a Massachusetts license.
