Description: This position follows Trio's clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. Functioning within the Health System s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on their shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries

RequirementDescription:
  • 2+ Years of Experience - [REQUIRED]
  • Attendance: must be committed to reporting for all assigned shifts and be on time.
  • Must be competent with Cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex,) and have knowledge of titration and application of these medications. - Required
  • Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms. - Required
  • Must possess critical thinking skills, be able to recognize change in patient status and intervene - Required
  • Must possess knowledge of signs/symptoms of stroke, recognize change in patient status and intervene. - Required
  • Must have strong communication skills.
