Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients.
Support newborn care immediately following delivery.
Supervise and direct nursing support staff, including CNAs, LPNs, and technicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, responses, and progress.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Michigan RN license (required at the time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of current Birthing Center/Labor & Delivery experience
Experience caring for laboring patients, assisting with deliveries, providing newborn care, and postpartum care for mothers and babies
BLS certification (required)
NRP certification preferred (candidates willing to obtain may be considered)
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
