What Youll Do- Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders for ICU patients.
- Collaborate with physicians to support a plan of care aimed at returning patients to optimal health.
- Delegate and coordinate nursing care tasks to appropriate nursing support staff as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and communicate relevant updates clearly.
- Facilitate/participate in patient conferences and support ongoing education needs for patients and families.
- Support safe patient placement and coordinate assignments within the unit.
- Contribute to professional growth by seeking educational opportunities and guiding/teaching team members.
What You Need
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to provide bedside ICU nursing care and implement ordered treatments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- ICU experience (or demonstrated experience caring for critically ill patients)
- Leadership comfort with delegation, coordination, and mentorship/precepting
About the Assignment
This is a temporary RN position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a leading facility in Bay City, Michigan. Youll work nights while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based, bedside care and help coordinate patient-centered plans that support recovery and discharge/transfer readiness.
