Required Skills:
- Current RN license in Ohio
- Proven clinical nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Calm and confident response to unexpected crises
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to float across units as needed
- Adherence to service excellence standards and hospital policies
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in multiple care specialties
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior float or agency nursing experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to mentor or assist new staff
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in a hospital setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelors Degree)
- Relevant certifications and licenses up to date
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to accept schedule adjustments and respond to unit needs
- Valid Ohio RN license with current certifications
- Ability to travel within hospital units as required
- Good standing with professional licensure and certifications
