What Youll Do:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate nursing care with physicians, providing support for both individual and group patients
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, secure environment for patients and staff in inpatient settings
- Document all patient interactions accurately in accordance with policies
- Monitor patient safety, report risks, and intervene as needed
- Lead and collaborate with staff, delegating tasks and fostering professional development
- Review and implement care protocols, contributing to continuous quality improvement
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and pre-authorization processes when necessary

What You Need:
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or inpatient psychiatric nursing
- Strong communication and empathetic skills
- Ability to work evening shifts
