What Youll Do
- Assist patients in long-term care facilities with therapeutic exercises, massages, and gait/balance training under the supervision of physical therapists
- Document patient progress and report findings to supervising therapists
- Implement treatment plans focused on improving mobility and overall well-being
- Support patient safety and comfort during rehabilitation sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
What You Need
Required:
- Valid PTA license in Texas or eligibility status
- Basic understanding of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
Preferred:
- Experience in long-term care settings
- Knowledge of gait and balance training protocols
