What Youll Bring:
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical interventions
- Ability to administer rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Proficiency in assessing patient progress and communicating effectively with supervising Occupational Therapists
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records
- Effective communication and teamwork with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Adherence to ethical standards, practice acts, and professional conduct rules
Nice to Have:
- Experience supervising and supporting therapy students
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and regulatory requirements
- Prior experience working in long-term care or similar settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in rehabilitative care, particularly in LTC environments
Other Requirements:
- Active licensing and registration as required by state regulations
- Willingness to participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Ability to support and supervise students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Must adhere to all applicable regulations, ethical standards, and practice guidelines
