What You’ll Bring:

  • Proficiency in assessing patient progress and communicating effectively with supervising Occupational Therapists
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records
  • Effective communication and teamwork with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
  • Adherence to ethical standards, practice acts, and professional conduct rules

Nice to Have:
  • Experience supervising and supporting therapy students
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience working in long-term care or similar settings

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in rehabilitative care, particularly in LTC environments

Other Requirements:
  • Active licensing and registration as required by state regulations
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences
  • Ability to support and supervise students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Must adhere to all applicable regulations, ethical standards, and practice guidelines
