What Youll Do
- Provide clinical nutrition assessments, reassessments, and medical nutrition therapy to patients
- Develop and recommend individualized nutrition care plans aligning with medical protocols
- Counsel patients and families on nutrition principles, modifications, and food choices
- Document all nutrition care activities using standardized language within medical records
- Communicate nutrition care plans effectively to healthcare team members
- Assist in maintaining and updating diet manuals, menus, policies, and educational materials
- Support continuing education programs and participate in staff training and community nutrition initiatives
- Contribute to quality improvement measures and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) certification/license
- At least 2 years of clinical nutrition experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred:
- Experience in hospital-based nutrition support and counseling
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
