Description: Surgical Technologist-First Assistants are responsible for performing at a competent level of technologist practice and according to the standards of practice for the area. Performs patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach. Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases. Functions to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members according to principles of patient focused care and customer service.
