What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Strong knowledge of addiction treatment protocols and case management
- Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress accurately
- Experience in patient advocacy, liaising with community and regulatory agencies, and crisis intervention
- Demonstrated organizational skills to coordinate care, manage documentation, and meet regulatory standards
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Federal and State regulatory standards related to addiction treatment
- Experience working with methadone maintenance and detoxification programs
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A minimum of an associate's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred
- Prior experience in chemical dependency counseling or addiction treatment settings
- Certification as an Addiction Counselor or similar credential is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to travel as necessary
- Present during scheduled working hours at the office for in-person meetings and access to a computer
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively
- Must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies
