They are headquartered in Hollywood, MD, with a great team, well -established product lines, and a growing client base. <\/span>

They are seeking a Telemetry Software Engineer to work as a member of the Product Engineering Team to develop software -based telemetry product solutions.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
Telemetry Software Engineer Responsibilities:
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Develop software design specifications based on requirements, or concept sketches<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Perform technical planning, software design, implementation, verification, formal Acceptance and Production tests<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Write and review design, release, and support documentation: development review documents, user and system administration manuals, interface control documents, test procedures, etc.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Active coordination with other departments for system integration, hardware and software integration, testing, and production<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Support co -worker development efforts, and solicit assistance, when necessary or appropriate<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Execute tasking in accordance with quality management system (QMS) processes and procedures; providing recommendations for continuous improvement as the opportunity arises<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Participate in relevant company and industry events<\/span><\/span>

-Familiarity with relevant specifications within the Inter -Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) Standard 106 (IRIG -106)<\/span>

-Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Journeyman level, or greater, knowledge of applicable software development technologies with 7 years of relevant telemetry industry experience<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Proficiency in C# and C++, background with C, along with solid object -oriented design skills<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Experience and proficiency with toolsets listed below<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Familiarity with basic communication interfaces such as USB, RS232, Ethernet<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Familiarity with VHDL code development and FPGA design would be a plus<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
-Familiarity with basic DSP functional blocks such as filtering and FFT would be a plus<\/span><\/span>
