Job Details

Under the direction of the Vice President, Connected Care Operations, this position will help support various clinical workflow, operational and quality initiatives, and serve as the clinical practice liaison to facilitate clinical adoption and access through telehealth. The incumbent will work closely with participating medical staff, business operations and IS&T personnel to develop and enhance workflows that create a friction free experience for both providers and patients. The Telehealth Workflow Design Analyst will leverage data and maintain, operational and quality data bases, and produce reports on a cadence that informs the senior leadership in a timely manner. This position will also be responsible for coordinating high quality clinical services and enhancing patient engagement via telehealth as well as engaging with staff and practice providers to focus on department adoption of clinical workflows and technology.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain consistent enterprise presence in practice to facilitate education and advocacy of clinical workflows and technology to enhance Virtual First initiatives.
  • Develop trusting relationships with practice administrators and providers that foster acceptance and engagement in connected care initiatives.
  • Develop infographics displaying current and future state opportunities and provide workflow and educational support to achieve desired outcomes
  • Maintenance and reporting of data used to support clinical workflow, operational and quality metrics for virtual health and urgent care service line.
  • In collaboration with the leadership team, designs reporting queries to meet the needs of the department and clinical practices
  • Links various electronic operational and clinical reporting systems (ie Epic, Qlik, & PowerBI) to understand monthly variances both in clinical adoption, and volumes, and quality initiatives and supports the Director Vice President, Connected Care Operations in attaining the development of presentations for monthly governance meetings.
  • Monitors timelines, resources, and reporting requirements to ensure successful initiative outcomes.
  • Manages the data repositories, ensuring a comprehensive data warehouse to meet the needs of the service line
  • Executes the processing of ad hoc report requests from multiple areas of the organization
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral presentation skills that engenders confidence and acceptance of key initiatives
  • Continuously improves effectiveness and efficiency of reports/tools related to all areas of responsibility
  • Uses video-conferencing technologies, telehealth technology and scheduling software to coordinate and connect staff, resources, patients, and providers in the manner effective to delivery of services, patient care, education and training.
  • Implements solutions, trains/supports patients, families and team members, and provides technical assistance during each virtual rounds encounter
  • Advocacy for the telehealth and urgent care programs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Education -

  • Associate’s Degree or 5 years clinical experience.

Education - Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience -

  • 1 year general business or healthcare related field.

Experience - Preferred

  • 2 years of experience in a health care setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required

  • Computer literacy and data analytic experience.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Baseline knowledge of the healthcare landscape and available telehealth and data analytic platforms
