- Develop and maintain BIM models and design documentation for telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Create accurate design drawings and models using Revit and/or AutoCAD in accordance with client standards and project specifications.
- Interpret design markups, specifications, and verbal instructions to produce high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and construction requirements.
- Support the design of telecommunications systems, including structured cabling, wiring, and network connectivity.
- Estimate design and modeling effort based on project scope and provided markups.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client and industry standards.
- Utilize Bluebeam or similar markup software to review and incorporate design changes.
- Contribute to the design of data center, life safety, security, access control, CCTV, paging, intercom, audio-visual, and network infrastructure systems where applicable.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with evolving BIM tools, telecommunications technologies, and industry best practices.
We are seeking a BIM Designer with 3+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry to support the design and modeling of telecom infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BIM design, Revit and/or AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of telecommunications systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
