Here's the Role:

Our team is building the critical wireless 4G LTE infrastructure that powers Texas! We are seeking to find a driven Structural Engineer Sr for our telecom team! As a structural engineer, you will design and implement networks that keep energy, water, and public safety agencies connected across Texas. This is an opportunity to support high-impact projects ranging from cutting-edge energy generation and distribution (data centers), optimizing hydropower operations, expanding middle-mile networks and essential community services. How You’ll Contribute:
  • Design and deliver construction packages for greenfield communication tower sites while analyzing existing infrastructure to provide remediation builds. 
  • Drive detailed project development which includes comprehensive technical specifications and conduct structural and civil assessments.  
  • Analyze geotechnical reports and surveys to define project scopes, oversee construction, cost estimates, and evaluate vendor proposals. 
  • Manage all construction phases from start to finish. 
  • Embody department standards while guiding junior colleagues and advising senior leadership. 
How You’re Qualified:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Eight or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job, including providing technical leadership in engineering.
  • Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
  • Experience with tnxTower or similar tower analysis software. 
  • Experience with commercial carrier 4G/5G site design. 
  • Experience with site permitting, FAA, and FCC regulations. 
  • Knowledge of surveying, hydrology and hydraulics studies, site grading, site drainage, and access road design. 
  • Familiarity with workflow management tools such as High Gear or Jira and field data collection tools such as Fulcrum.
