The Technical Designer position is a temporary, onsite role based in Manhattan, NY, lasting 2+ months.
- Responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.
- Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop accurate fit specifications.
- Ensures products meet fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost targets.
- Develops technical specifications and communicates fit details to vendors/factories for approval and adjustments.
- Collaborates with factories to maintain design integrity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Typically reports to the Technical Services Manager and may oversee Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience.
Senior candidates should have over 7 years of technical design experience in intimates or apparel.
