Community Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a passionate Teen Intervene Health Educator to provide evidence-based substance use prevention and early intervention services to youth throughout Worcester County, Maryland. This is a contractual,  position with travel to schools and community sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Teen Intervene sessions and substance use prevention education for adolescents.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational presentations in schools, community centers, and other youth settings.
  • Build positive relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and program data.
  • Monitor participant progress and assist with program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with agency staff and community stakeholders to support program goals and outreach efforts.
  • Requirement of seeing 5 clients per month either individually or in a group and a big emphasis on building relationships with youth centers and Worcester County Schools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing youth education, prevention, or substance use programming.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with diverse youth populations preferred.
