Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

  • 8 years of progressive wireless network engineering experience in large-scale, global enterprise environments.
  • Current CWNA Certification (CWSP, CWDP, or CCNP Wireless preferred).
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies (AireOS/IOS-XE, Catalyst Center, Prime Infrastructure) and hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine for enterprise Radius, AAA, and policy management.
  • Proven experience leading wireless infrastructure projects from concept through deployment and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Ekahau software for predictive and active WiFi design, including ECSE certification.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and managing RMA/TAC cases with Cisco.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex wireless network solutions for global enterprise environments.
  • Architect and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine deployments for Radius Authentication, policy enforcement, and AAA across global sites.
  • Deploy, configure, and analyze client experience monitoring tools to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve wireless client issues.
  • Serve as the highest-level escalation point for advanced wireless issues, including RF design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing technical leadership, training, and guidance.
