Reports to Executive Director of Technology Purpose This position will work in conjunction with the Rowan-Salisbury School Systems technology department.

Qualifications Graduate from a two-year college or technical school with coursework in electronics and computers and 1-3 years experience or high school diploma or equivalency and an equivalent combination of training and experience.

The following certifications are desired but not mandatory: • A Net Security • ACMT • iOS Certified • CCNA • MCSE

Applicants will be asked to complete a skills test as part of the interview process. The skills test is used to assess each applicants proficiency with Hardware, Software, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of: • MDM Solutions • Mac OS-iOS Devices • Windows OS • MS Office • Software Applications • LAN-WAN • Imaging Solutions • Mac and PC • Network Printers • Wireless AP • Scripting

Key Duties and Responsibilities Configures, repairs, maintains, and upgrades technology-related equipment including but not limited to: • Apple IOS and OSX devices • Windows imaging and mobile device management software

Communicates with employees and management in a timely and professional manner. Provides support to users by phone and email using remote support tools.

Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills, and attention to details are required to work within the department and school environment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Uses a web-based work-order tracking system for routine repair and maintenance of equipment. Assists in researching new technology and provides input on new standards.

Attends classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of equipment and operating systems.

Term of Employment 12 months in accordance with the Rowan-Salisbury School Board calendar.
