Job Description
Title: Technology Support
Positions:

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid NYS certification
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Effective computer/technology literacy skills (troubleshooting district software platforms, user support/password reset, basic hardware/device issues)
- Ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting
- Able to work effectively with a variety of staff groups
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve on the District-Level Technology Planning Committee to represent building interests and align with district initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison between building staff and the technology department to communicate site-specific needs.
- Provide group demonstrations and/or targeted training sessions for building staff when requested.
- Provide technology onboarding and support for aides, substitute teachers, and other building staff.
- Offer 1:1 and small-group coaching to assist staff with technology utilization and access to digital tools.
- Proactively communicate emerging technology trends and building-wide logistical needs to the department.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
Salary: As per the contract between Victor Central Schools and the Victor Teachers' Association
Terms of Employment: The Instructional Technology/Computer Teacher Leader position is a ten-month position. The terms are established in accordance with the contract between Victor Central Schools and the Victor Teachers' Association.
Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated annually by district administration.
