The School District of West Salem is right next door to La Crosse in the beautiful Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our 3 buildings are within walking distance of each other on an approximate 100-acre campus on the edge of town. Students in grades K-12 are issued MacBooks or iPads as part of their 1:1 digital learning environment.
The district is looking for a Technology Support Specialist for our district to "Serve with passion to ignite creativity, innovation, and excellence." School district employees must have strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to work well with adults, children of all ages, and the public.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology Services, the Technology Support Specialist is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance of iPads, Macbooks, iMacs, desktop PCs; assisting with district audio and visual needs, and various hardware and software applications.
