Description: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Data Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Looking for a Sr. level candidate to be a conversational self starter in knowing the right questions to ask, gathering requirements and reporting data to assist in building the compensation database. MS Fabric A+ along with Power BI.
Experience in compensation/ HR experience/ HR data desired over relevant industry experience
Team makeup: 7 people. This candidate will be interacting with approximately a dozen people throughout the project.

Contractor Investment to Accelerate Compensation Data Module Development
 
Summary:

The Compensation organization is building a trusted, reusable Compensation Data Module in Microsoft Fabric to support automated reporting, standardized calculations, daily refreshes, self-service analytics, and future AI-enabled capabilities.

Two foundational efforts are occurring at the same time: 1) the initial Compensation Data Module build, and 2) establishment of new Microsoft Fabric data integration, governance, security, and operating practices for highly sensitive Compensation data.

This creates a temporary spike in requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, delivery coordination, and documentation that exceeds steady-state demand.

Resource Focus & Deliverables:

Requirements gathering; stakeholder engagement; backlog management; meeting facilitation; testing coordination; cross-functional dependency tracking.

Documented business requirements; prioritized backlog; decision / issue log; test and validation coordination plan.

Reusable documentation repository; operating procedures; data definition inventory; onboarding materials for future projects.

Documentation of new MS Fabric operating practices, data definitions, security assumptions, change management routines, and support handoffs.

Example Assignment:

Partner with business and Tech team to define requirements for building a MS Fabric data store and semantic models from a flat file style report from a vendor system.
