Education
Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Experience
None. One year of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registered or registry eligible • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible • Must obtain Cardiac or Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring, both preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
