Role: Techno-Functional SAP Treasury Product Manager BSA
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract: Onsite Location: San Jose, CA
This is NOT a pure Business PM. A general SAP Finance PM or a project manager with light Treasury exposure. This IS a hands-on techno-functional SAP Treasury Product Manager BSA.

Candidates must demonstrate deep day-to-day hands-on experience in: • SAP Treasury TRM • Cash Management • In-House Banking • Treasury Payments • Securities • FX • Risk Exposure • Hedging • Cash flow hedging • Balance sheet hedging
Configuration-level understanding not just oversight.
Treasury does not operate in isolation. Candidates must have experience integrating SAP Treasury with: • Bloomberg market data • Trading platforms (e.g. 360T FX) • Other third-party Treasury systems
Understanding end-to-end data flow across systems is essential.
Even though this is a Product Manager BSA role, the candidate must: • Understand Treasury deeply enough to challenge business requirements • Ask the right functional questions • Design solutions aligned with SAP Treasury capabilities • Translate business needs into workable SAP integration solutions
Project management alone will not work in this role. Absolute must-haves for this role:
Strongly preferred but not strict blocker: • SaaS subscription business exposure - preferred for faster ramp-up • Meeting notes with the manager
Ideal Candidate:
• Seeking a senior hands-on techno-functional Product Manager BSA with deep SAP Finance and Treasury expertise • Not a pure business PM and not a developer • Strong SAP FI foundations and extensive Treasury implementation experience • Experience in advanced Treasury transformations (TMS, Treasury Management Systems, FSCM, Financial Supply Chain Management, cash management forecasting, FX risk management, Treasury operations)
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the subject matter expert in S4H Treasury Management and financial accounting areas • Define and drive the product roadmap to address future business needs and opportunities • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities using data, customer insights, competitive analysis, and industry-standard methodologies • Work together with collaborators from the finance business unit to ensure product solutions meet business requirements • Partner with cross-functional teams (including engineering, finance, operations, and analytics) to guide finance products from conception to launch • Build arguments outlining the projected impact for each initiative to be prioritized on the roadmap • Write detailed product requirements, functional specs, and user stories to be used by engineering and design teams • Build impactful insights and convey recommendations to executives and other customers • Coordinate the full product lifecycle from design and development to implementation and ongoing optimization
Requirements:
• 10 years of experience in product management of SAP S4H FICO FSCM TRM, along with treasury operations (in-house cash, cash management, forecasting, credits, and collections, Capital market investments, Foreign Exchange risk management, etc.) • Proven experience directing all aspects of a product lifecycle from development to launch and support • Strong background in SAP S4H, SAP ECC, Salesforce, MS-Dynamics, Databricks, and other analytical systems • Experience crafting and implementing General Ledger, Accounts payable and receivables, Treasury, Tax, RAR, etc. • Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and partner with development teams to build product capabilities • Hands-on experience working with agile and scrum methodologies in software product development • Strong analytical skills with the ability to bring to bear multiple data sources to support business decisions • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced time-sensitive situations with minimal direction • Experience in software product launches and working across multiple teams to drive product success
