Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to find a Tableau Techno-Functional Analyst who will serve as the bridge between business end users and data-driven insights. This junior-to-mid-level, contract-to-hire role focuses on gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable Tableau reports and dashboards, and presenting findings that drive strategic decisions. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement (3 days per week on-site).
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting requirements through probing discovery sessions
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau reports and dashboards that align with business objectives
- Leverage Tableau Prep to create and manage data flows, joins, unions, and transformations
- Present data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner
- Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests to support time-sensitive decision-making
- Track and manage reporting tasks, enhancements, and project deliverables within Jira
- Maintain thorough documentation of requirements, data mappings, and reporting processes
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- Proficiency in Tableau Prep for building and managing data preparation workflows
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to engage business stakeholders and ask targeted, probing questions
- Experience using Jira for project tracking and task management
- Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts and data structures
- Python skills for forecasting model development (preferred)
- MedTech industry experience, particularly with pricing and contracts (preferred)
Compensation
$50-$55/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
