This role involves conducting repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on generators and equipment both in the shop and on customer sites.
Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, completing service reports, collaborating with customers, and participating in an after-hours on-call schedule once fully trained.
- Preferred candidates have mechanic or equipment repair experience, including recent technical school graduates.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems is required, with generator repair experience preferred.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, using test equipment, and working with computers is essential.
