The Flight Test A&P Maintenance Technician supports experimental aircraft programs by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems such as flight controls, landing gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, and engines to ensure safety and compliance during flight testing.
- Perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications, including engine work and system testing.
- Support engineering changes, document compliance, and collaborate with engineers on troubleshooting and design updates.
- Oversee and guide unlicensed technicians, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records per FAA standards.
- Operate ground support equipment, support ground operations, and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications include 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, an A&P license, and strong mechanical skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, work in various environments, and travel as needed are required.
