Description

Summary:

Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various gaming and electronic equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Rebuild, repair, modify and install gaming devices of all types and associated equipment.
  • Set programming, troubleshoot and test gaming machines and associated equipment as instructed.
  • Set up and install progressive signs and controllers.
  • Install, remove, set options, repair and troubleshoot GMS System, cash dispensing safes, progressive systems and signs.
  • Run and terminate CAT 5 and 6, fiber, coaxes and installs patch panels.
  • Support route service & work on follow up items as required.
  • Complete all paper work accurately and submit at the end of the day what work was performed. Document proper installations, MCU's, conversions and machine preparations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued.
  • Complete all jobs within the specified time estimates provided by management.
  • Install and remove gaming machines, associated equipment, woodworking, laminating, painting, cleaning, polishing, loading and unloading equipment, operating a forklift, building maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Maintains safe working equipment and keeps work areas clean
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience performing same or similar job duties.
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working calmly and professionally in busy work environment while effectively multi-tasking.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Experience performing job functions in a timely manner with minimal and/or no supervision.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:
  • Walk, stand, sit, climb or stoop more than 75% of the time.
  • Use of tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity more than 75% of the time.
  • Ability to operate hand truck to move 400+ lb. slot machine.
  • Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying/bending/kneeling/climbing/ and standing more than 75% of the time.
  • Using chemical agents (up to approx. 25% of the time).
  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
  • Hearing, vision (including peripheral), speech and literacy (critical).
  • Ability to communicate vocally utilizing portable radios and telephones (critical).
  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Occasionally drives motor vehicle.
Work Environment Potential Conditions:

  • Smoky and noisy
  • Extreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity.
  • Driving and/or riding in vehicle.
