Overview
Job Summary- Analyze, plan, design, maintain, and provide ongoing optimization and support of Baptist OneCare. Perform workflow assessments, capture business needs and analyze internal business systems to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization. Possess in-depth clinical and application knowledge and experience. Perform system builds, upgrades, and system enhancements as needed. Support application through all phases of implementation, optimization, and maintenance. Work with cross-functional team and end users to achieve application integration to meet clinical and/or business needs. Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of original, creative, intellectual work. Incumbent is subject to overtime, callback, and on-call as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities \u2022 Facilitates implementation of Baptist OneCare and associated projects to meet organizational objectives and strategies. \u2022 Analyzes problems, recommends improvement and develops appropriate action plans utilizing Baptist Management System Tools to promote transformation and ensure successful implementation. \u2022 Completes testing of software applications using established standards and protocols. \u2022 Provides ongoing support of Epic and other applications under area of responsibility. \u2022 Completes assigned goals
Experience Description - Minimum Required - Proven combination of experience that demonstrates advanced knowledge of healthcare issues, and/or system complex systems issues, software design and integration. Minimum of 3 years experience in IS or related department operations. Preferred/Desired - Experience in project management and/or system implementations.
Education Description - Minimum Required - Education from an accredited institution or experience as listed. Education of certificate program or two- year college degree; Completion of Epic certification within 90 days of completing training. 3 years experience in related field dependent on education. Preferred/Desired - Bachelor's degree.
Training Description - Minimum Required Appropriate certifications as they apply to specialized area of expertise. Project management or Information Systems training. Preferred/Desired - Project management or Information Systems training.
Special Skills Description Minimum - Required Proficiency in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems assessment and implementation. Project management and organization skills. Proficiency in communicating and performing Information System assessments. Preferred/Desired - Strong project management and organizational skills; Ability to communicate and formally present information to project leadership, subject matter experts, project teams, and stakeholders.
Licensure Description - Minimum Required DRIVER'S LICENSE (CURRENT) Requires Nationally Registered EMT license, MS EVOC license, and MS EMT license
