Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and create high-quality documentation for our line of electronic signage products. This role requires someone who can translate technical information about our digital signage hardware and software into clear, accessible documents for installers, end-users, and service technicians.
Youll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and support staff to produce manuals, wiring diagrams, installation instructions, software guides, and maintenance documentation that help ensure a smooth user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation including:
Installation manuals (mounting, wiring, and configuration)
User guides for digital signage control software and interfaces
Maintenance and troubleshooting guides
Product specifications and safety instructions
Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and support teams to gather technical details.
Translate technical jargon into clear, understandable content for non-technical users.
Create visual aids (wiring diagrams, schematics, callouts, etc.) to enhance documentation.
Maintain document version control and update documentation in line with product updates or new releases.
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and safety regulations (UL, CE, FCC, etc.).
Assist in the creation of training materials and internal knowledge base articles.
