Software Engineer

Software Engineers (Technical Lead, Sr. Developer, Mid Developer and iOS Developer) will provide the following services:

• Modernization of legacy services as applications are migrated to the new application framework
• Analyzing and refactoring code periodically to develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems
• Coordination and collaboration across teams and key stakeholders
• Design, develop and modify software applications and systems according to requirements
• Technical Lead to lead team and provide oversight to software engineering team, aligning to United team standards, practices and development processes
• iOS Developer to develop software source code on the Apple iOS platform to support application functionality on United's digital channel
• Part of the Tech Ops “Unimatic Retirement Application Team”

Notes:

• Prefers someone local to Houston. This is a 6 month contract but is slated to extend to 12 months.
• This Tech lead will have an understanding of architecture but will be very much hands on. Mentor other developers, code reviews, etc. Typically what you would see within a lead developer.
• Need someone with strong experience in .Net Core, React, and AWS
