As a Technical Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be supporting our Onity hospitality and commercial products. In this customer-facing role, you'll provide technical assistance to a global customer base, troubleshoot electronic and networked systems, and deliver exceptional service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and supporting innovative hospitality technologies in a fast-paced support environment.

You will report directly to our Technical Support Supervisor, and you''ll work out of our Salem, OR or Royalton, OH location on a remote work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our customers by providing timely and effective technical facilitate, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure their satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information clearly will be essential in resolving customer inquiries and maintaining strong relationships.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • At least 1 year of experience in Technical Support, Help Desk, or Call Center environments
  • Knowledge of IP networking concepts
  • Strong PC skills (Windows 7-11; DOS/XP familiarity a plus)
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong listening, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit or stand for an 8-hour workday
  • Ability to communicate by phone and in person
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher
