Technical Specialist/Scientist II

Assignment Length: Approximately 12-Months, possibly longer.

DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist/Scientist II to provide operational support for the onboarding and provisioning of employees across various business functions, including Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ). The role ensures all access requests and provisioning activities comply with established security, compliance, and access governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for onboarding and provisioning processes.
  • Validate job templates and confirm provisioning requests are accurate and complete.
  • Submit and manage access requests while coordinating with IT and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support new and existing employees by resolving access issues, identifying missing or incorrect roles, and facilitating necessary updates.
  • Manage team mailbox, respond to inquiries, prioritize work, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Track tasks through completion to ensure timely delivery of technology and system access.
  • Partner with IT teams to ensure onboarding technology and system access are delivered efficiently.
  • Maintain reports and documentation to support leadership visibility and operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience performing analysis or related work requiring specialized training.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests concurrently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot onboarding and provisioning issues.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to interact professionally with managers, IT teams, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Helix/Remedy, or other onboarding/provisioning tools.
