Qualifications
3-5 years of information storage experience as an engineer/ architect. The ideal candidate will have combined experience as a storage architect practitioner and storage consultant.
Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
1-3 years experience with one or more of the following: • NetApp • Dell • EMC • PURE • VAST • Qumulo • Hitachi • HPE • IBM and performance testing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Substantial knowledge of current and upcoming storage technologies and operations. Proficient ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments and adjusting priorities. Ability to communicate and modify approach language and style to different audiences. Basic experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading storage initiatives and projects. Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels.
Storage and other certifications are preferred but not required.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $138,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including shift location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
