Technical Services Consultant II (Acute Care Informatics)

Job Description

Your role:

  • Serves as a trusted technical advisor to clients, gaining a deep understanding of their environments and business objectives to recommend tailored solutions. Partners closely with customers to align technical strategies with long-term operational and performance goals.
  • Designs, configures, and implements complex technical solutions, including system architectures, integration plans, testing strategies, and deployment activities. Ensures solutions are scalable, reliable, and optimized to meet customer requirements and business needs.
  • Leads advanced troubleshooting efforts by performing detailed diagnostics, root cause analysis, and proactive system assessments. Identifies opportunities to improve system health, performance, and reliability while preventing future issues.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, support procedures, best practices, and knowledge-sharing resources. Drives consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence through effective configuration management and standardized processes.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with customers, product teams, sales organizations, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes and continuous improvements. Provides technical reporting, strategic recommendations, and performance insights that enhance customer satisfaction and influence future product and service enhancements.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 2+ years of experience in application deployment within healthcare IT. You have strong knowledge of hospital workflows and have worked in customer service delivery, with a focus on technical implementation.

  • Your skills include:

  • Extensive knowledge of networking, virtualization, server hardware, Windows domains, system performance and SQL Server.

  • Strong analytical expertise and excellent diagnostics capabilities.

  • Knowledge of Philips Surveillance and HL7 - a plus.

  • You have High School Diploma, Vocational Education or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Business, or Engineering or equivalent.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You're an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. Leveraging a customer-first mindset, you serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and solutions that drive customer success and long-term partnership growth.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

$42.00 to $65.00 (AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MS, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV OR WY)

$44.00 to $69.00 (AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA)

$47.00 to 73.00 (CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ)

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
