Job Title: Technical Sales & Service Representative (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid (Inside & Outside Sales)
Compensation: Base Salary $60,000$70,000 + Commission (TBD)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Technical Sales & Service Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines both inside and outside sales responsibilities, focusing on high-value heavy equipment solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing long sales cycles, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate heavy equipment solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing (average deal size ~$1M)
- Conduct both remote (inside sales) and in-person (outside sales) client interactions
- Provide technical guidance and product support to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
- Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events (including occasional overnight travel)
Qualifications:
- Experience in technical sales, heavy equipment, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid sales environment (office + field)
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
Work Schedule:
- MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Some overnight travel required (per diem provided)
