Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Location: Boston, MA

Pay Rate: $40.27/hr, W2

Duration: 4+ Month Contract

Summary:

  • The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is seeking a contract Technical Recruiter.
  • Responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring technology professionals across the Commonwealth's enterprise IT organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for both full-time and contract-based technology roles.
  • Primary work location is, Boston, Massachusetts 02108, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a requisition load of full-time and contract openings across various technical disciplines.
  • Conduct intake conversations with hiring managers to define job requirements and guide stakeholders through the recruitment process.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates through multiple channels.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Present qualified candidates and provide hiring managers with insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate feedback collection.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of recruitment activity within applicant tracking systems.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and industry events to build talent pipelines.
  • Provide updates to hiring managers and internal stakeholders regarding recruitment progress.
  • Partner with HR and internal teams to ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

  • One (1) to three (3) plus years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably supporting technical or technology-focused roles.
  • Familiarity with sourcing technical talent, including software developers, IT infrastructure specialists, and cybersecurity professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple requisitions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing recruitment needs.
