Technical Project Manager

We are partnering with our client to identify an experienced Technical Project Manager for a 4–6 month contract engagement. This individual will lead and coordinate multiple technology-focused initiatives while serving as a key partner to leadership on a high-profile ADP implementation project.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, can effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, and has experience working with enterprise software implementations, HRIS systems, or similar business-critical initiatives.

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-Based Candidates Only)

Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage 2–3 concurrent projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner closely with leadership and project sponsors to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
• Support a large-scale ADP implementation, coordinating resources, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive-level reporting.
• Manage project schedules, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent technology projects.
• Experience leading software implementation, system migration, or enterprise application projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Experience creating executive-level project documentation and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ADP implementations or HRIS-related projects.
• Experience with Planview PPM.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience working in large, cross-functional enterprise environments.
• Background managing projects involving HR, Payroll, ERP, or business systems implementations.

Compensation:

The Hourly range for this position is from $55 to $75 , depending on experience.
