Technical Project Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Orlando, FL.

Overview: We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with hands on development exposure to help bring structure, clarity, and delivery rigor to a growing technical team. This role is ideal for someone who is not a traditional, administrative only PM, but instead can work closely with developers, understand the technical landscape, and actively guide execution using Agile/Scrum practices.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving project planning, defining milestones and deliverables, improving Scrum execution, and ensuring cross functional alignment across technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Agile/Scrum project execution, ensuring ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) are effectively implemented and followed
• Establish and maintain project structure, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
• Partner closely with developers to translate business requirements into actionable technical work
• Track progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies; Proactively escalate and resolve issues
• Support backlog grooming, sprint prioritization, and release planning
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and accountability
• Contribute light technical support as needed (code reviews, troubleshooting, solution discussions)
