Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering. Required Qualifications: Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Experience coordinating hardware implementation projects, including schedule management, implementation planning, documentation, and leading cutover activities to successful completion.
Working knowledge of network security technologies and infrastructure, including firewalls and IDS/IPS, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with engineers, onsite resources, vendors, and stakeholders.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation, capture and distribute meeting minutes, track action items, and drive timely follow-up.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgment, accountability, and ownership of deliverables.
Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to asking questions, seeking clarification when needed, and escalating issues appropriately.
Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams and dependencies while maintaining alignment and execution focus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard project tracking and reporting tools.
Flexible to support a combination of daytime project coordination and after-hours implementation activities as required by project schedules.
