Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager II, Silicon TPM to join our dynamic team supporting client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in silicon and hardware material management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional program leadership and a proven ability to plan and deliver complex engineering build materials on schedule across global partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage silicon vendors to deliver material for engineering prototype builds.
  • Create engineering build matrix, schedule, and scope, and drive vendor execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to resolve technical, material, and schedule issues and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Assess scope change requests and drive team approval or rejection.
  • Establish communication infrastructure across internal and external teams, including Jira and Google Drive. Run weekly meetings, set agendas, and record minutes.
  • Manage documentation such as engineering requirement specs, bill of materials, and design collaterals.
  • Track engineering budget spend and ensure alignment with forecasts.
  • Partner with legal and business teams to put TPA/NDA agreements in place for new vendors.
  • Manage silicon material builds for NPI engineering builds and ensure timely delivery.
  • Track wafers from foundry through downstream teams and report status.
  • Work with engineering teams to provide sample forecasts and allocate material during shortages.
  • Monitor and report delivery schedules, materials, build matrix details, and blocker issues.
  • Handle critical issues due to engineering changes, material shortages, or schedule slips and drive rebounds.
  • Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and present updates in forums and vendor meetings.
  • Assist with PO generation, approvals, deliverable tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Support lab equipment delivery and setup as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to drive cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing, prioritizing, and maintaining multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong critical thinking with both program-level and detailed execution understanding.
  • Detail orientation to ensure accuracy of data, statuses, and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to react to change in time-sensitive environments and operate in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to work with overseas vendors across Europe and Asia time zones.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hardware and silicon material management experience.
  • Familiarity with Jira administration and vendor collaboration workflows.
