Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with AV experience to lead the delivery of conference room and collaboration space deployments across a global footprint.

This role is ideal for someone who understands AV systems conceptually and has hands-on exposure, but is now focused on owning projects end-to-end, coordinating vendors, and ensuring successful delivery at scale.Role Responsibilities

Project Ownership & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end delivery of AV projects, primarily conference room (Google Meet) builds
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Drive project planning, execution, communication, and issue resolution Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external AV integrators
• Manage vendor performance and ensure quality of delivery
• Facilitate clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Technical Oversight (Conceptual)
• Understand how AV systems are designed and deployed (without needing to build them yourself)
• Oversee troubleshooting efforts by coordinating with vendors and internal teams
• Ensure solutions align with standards and business needs Process & Coordination
• Navigate construction and deployment workflows (e.g., working with GCs, electricians, integrators)
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects
• Drive accountability and keep projects moving forward Required Qualifications

Experience

• ~5+ years of experience in:
  • AV deployment, OR
  • Technical project management with AV exposure
• Experience managing projects involving:
  • Conference room technology
  • AV system rollouts or upgrades Technical Knowledge (Conceptual, Not Deep Engineering)
• Familiarity with AV technologies such as:
  • Crestron, Dante, DSP, AV over IP
• Understanding of basic networking and AV concepts (e.g., DHCP vs. HDCP distinctions)
• Ability to understand how systems integrate and communicate Project Management Skills
• Strong organizational and project ownership mindset
• Experience coordinating vendors and cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Communication & Mindset
• Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ownership mentality (proactive vs. scope-limited)
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
• PMP certification or formal project management training
• Experience with:
  • Large-scale AV environments (e.g., campuses, global deployments)
  • Event or town hall AV setups (secondary to core role)
