Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives from planning through delivery. This role will oversee cross-functional teams, manage project governance, and ensure successful execution of enterprise systems projects while balancing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and a proven ability to drive projects in large, matrixed environments. Position onsite in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage project risks, issues, stakeholders, vendors, and governance activities while providing executive-level status reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive adoption of project management best practices, methodologies, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of project management experience with enterprise systems and integration initiatives.
  • Active PMP certification and demonstrated experience utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and problem-solving skills; government/public sector experience preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
