Technical Program Manager II Network Capacity Cloud Networking

About the Job

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, youll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Youll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage capacity, deliverables, plan of records, and schedules.
  • Ensure deliverables are managed and delivered to overall schedule.
  • Understand partner team dependencies, constraints, designs, and forecasting mechanisms that impact the business by engaging early and often collaborating on process improvements and communicating.
  • Work with planning to understand the plan of record, ensure dependent projects are kicked off in time to support the schedule of downstream dependencies.
  • Work with partner teams to ensure project priorities are aligned, resources are secured, and logistics are on point with material storage and delivery.
  • Document patterns, spikes, lesson learned, and proactively improve deployment times.
  • Provide health reports highlighting wins, risk, and upcoming demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in data networking architecture.
  • Experience with network capacity.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with SQL and large-scale data analysis.

What We Offer

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 - $189,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
