Description

Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the Advanced Hardware Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams involved in cutting-edge hardware development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $80-$85/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Own end-to-end program management for next-generation robotaxi hardware development programs, from concept and architecture through EVT/DVT/PVT builds and into production ramp
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate corporate strategy and milestones into detailed product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software, firmware, functional safety, system, procurement, and vehicle development teams to align priorities and dependencies
  • Partner with outside contract manufacturers to plan and execute prototype and engineering builds, incorporating DFM/DFT feedback into the design process
  • Establish standard reports and regularly communicate program progress, risks, and achievements to leadership and cross-functional teams

What's Needed?

  • 6+ years of hardware Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management experience, with proven success in taking products from concept through production ramp
  • Strong background in end-to-end hardware development within automotive or consumer electronics industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with outside contract manufacturers during development builds and production ramp-up
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to report progress and risks clearly to diverse teams and leadership
