Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst / Technical Product Manager to lead and support the end-to-end migration from Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) to Oracle ERP. This role requires a blend of functional expertise, technical acumen, and product management capabilities to ensure a smooth transition, optimization of business processes, and successful adoption of Oracle ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Transformation & Migration

  • Lead the migration strategy and execution from Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) to Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud / Oracle EBS).
  • Conduct current-state (AS-IS) assessments of GP systems and design future-state (TO-BE) Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Define data migration strategy, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.

Business Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and related domains.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend best practices aligned with Oracle ERP capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops, gap analysis, and solution design sessions.

Technical Product Management

  • Own product backlog for ERP transformation initiatives and prioritize features based on business value.
  • Define product roadmap and milestones for ERP implementation and enhancements.
  • Work closely with engineering, vendors, and system integrators to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.

System Integration & Architecture

  • Design integration approaches between Oracle ERP and external systems (e.g., HR, CRM, data warehouses).
  • Collaborate with technical architects on API design, middleware, and data flows.
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and security compliance.

Testing & Deployment

  • Oversee test planning and execution (SIT, UAT, regression testing).
  • Validate migrated data and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation stabilization.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a bridge between business users, IT, and external vendors.
  • Provide regular status updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Manage expectations and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders.

Change Management & Training

  • Support organizational change management initiatives.
  • Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Ensure user adoption and continuous improvement post-implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in ERP systems, with hands-on experience in:
    • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
    • Oracle ERP (Fusion or EBS)
  • Proven experience in ERP migration or transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.).
  • Experience in data migration tools, SQL, and integration technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) modules.
  • Certifications in Oracle ERP, PMP, or Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft).
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (BI, Oracle Analytics, Power BI).
